One of the technologies that we utilize is the Gendex Cone Beam CT 3D Scanner. This imaging technology produces a 3D image of the patient’s mouth or area of interest. This allows for a precision diagnosis and planning for procedures such as implant placement. It can tell us whether it is necessary to perform bone grafting or a sinus lift for implant placement. The 3D technology provides a level of accuracy that is not present with 2D technology.
